The President of the UEF Sultan Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said has finally chosen a wife. He will marry Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , a daughter of the Emir of Dubai.

The Sheikha is much younger than the Sultan, around 25 years actually, but the king is getting older and he is in need of a wife to produce a heir before he dies, so a good healthy wife is a must.

The wedding will be a private one, held later in February at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, which has the second largest hand woven carpet in the world.
